Demolition for the old house began promptly at 0630 hours yesterday and was completed today before noon. The crew worked non-stop. I was impressed.
Several neighbors gathered by Lesley's front yard to watch the spectacle. In the afternoon even CC, Melody and Taylor came by to watch for a bit.
I still have to clean up around the yard. Most of the flora survived. The tall Italian pine is still standing. The foundation is salvageable for the rebuild. But that won't be until at least next year.
