I was at the mercy of Nina. She is aware of this area, and both had hiked here before and enjoyed it. so I assume this is a worthwhile trail to explore. It is 1:30 hour away from Knik, right off the main highway.
The drive south is also pretty, along the inlet until it reaches Girdwood.
